New Life Church Providence

New Life Providence Church is a church plant whose pastor is Dan Backens. For many years, New Life met in a high school. Their numbers continued to grow upwards to the range of 800 parishioners. New Life purchased an existing school and commissioned Barnes Design Group to prepare a master plan study encompassing the vision of the pastor, incorporating the renovation of the existing structure along with a new 1,200-seat sanctuary design. The master plan embraces a future expansion whereby the presently-designed sanctuary would become a large gathering space, lobby, bookstore and a Starbucks-type cafeteria when the 2,500 seat is ultimately built.
