Over the past 25 years, the firm has completed hotel/motels, hundreds of residential and multi-family, industrial projects, restaurants, commercial and government master plan projects, government projects, shopping centers, retail projects and over 500 churches.

The copyright law defines “architectural work: as the artistic design and layout of a building as expressed in plans, drawings and especially as rendered in 3d computer models. The 1990 Architectural Works Copyright Protection Act amended the U.S. copyright laws to provide extensive safeguards for the designs of architects and engineers.
Simply stated, all reports, plans, specifications, computer files, field data, 3d computer models and renderings, notes and other documents and instruments prepared by the Architectural Design Professional as instruments of service shall remain the property of the Design Professional. The Design Professional shall retain all common laws, statutory and other reserved rights, including the copyright thereto.
Copying from these architectural plans or designs, even with minor modifications, without the express written consent of Barnes Design Group, P.C., by a contractor, owner, church or other design professional is a technical copyright infringement of the law of the United States.
